Surge finished his championship by 10 months. On the way he got a puppy group, best of breed and group 4^th. At the CSSA specialties, he won best baby puppy in his class at one of the regionals. He also made the cut at the US Nationals in the Sr puppy class.

He has a great show attitude and is very outgoing, and is co owned with Pat Marcus.
